Stress is a part of us. It happens from every day occurrences.

There are many things you can do to eliminate stress from your life.

- Plan ahead.
- Organize what you need to do.
- Do something that will relax your mind.
- Enlist other people's help.
- Set a timer to help manage your schedule.
- Take time off from work.
- Spend time with your family, especially your children.
- Spend time for a hobby you enjoy.
- Listen to soothing music.
- Get enough sleep.
- Exercise.
- Volunteer for charity and non-profit work.
- Make new friends.
- Get a pet.

Whatever you do, always remember that stress is harmful to your health.

Control Anger

Anger can lead to stress. Learn to control your anger. Learn to discharge the angry feeling appropriately. Venting your anger at someone else can create bad feelings. Chronically angry people have greater risks of heart attacks.

Some of the ways to release your anger is through exercise. You can go hiking, swimming, jogging as well as doing other physical activities. You can listen to soothing music too.

First Things To Do

There are many things you can do for yourself. Nobody will be able to do them for you. Only you can take charge of your own life.

- Stop smoking. Smoking is the cause of many preventable illnesses. The single act of smoking is harmful to your health and those around you.

- Meditate, pray and relax. You learn to renew your mental strength when you take time to relax yourself to meditation and praying.

- Take time out to exercise. Even if you are not doing so for your weight, you need to move around too. Inactivity puts you in risk for many health disorders.

- Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol. Excessive consumption of alcohol can cause health problems too.

- Control your anger. Anger destroys.

- Set priorities on whatever you need to do.
